MCND has adopted as a carbon support of platinum catalyst by commercially available Fuel Cell Vehicles (FCVs). MCND contributed to the wide spread of FCVs and the realization of a hydrogen energy based society, and expected to be used various applications.
MCND enhances catalyst activity by unique mesoporous structures and has excellent catalyst durability due to its oxidation resistance body made of several graphene sheets. Therefore, MCND can significantly reduce platinum catalyst usage.
