This research center focuses on coal tar chemicals and aromatic chemistry derived from steelmaking processes, serving as a hub for developing fundamental and applied technologies. By leveraging these core technical fields, we undertake activities ranging from basic research aided by computational science to process development aimed at commercialization. Our efforts include materials for fuel cells and high-performance organic electroluminescence (Organic EL) display materials, among other advanced applications.
